Number 4 in a series of 5
The vast majority of Rotarians attending the 2018 Rotary International Convention in Toronto, Canada will likely take the opportunity to walk between the Air Canada Centre where the opening and closing ceremonies are held plus the morning plenary sessions to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre both North and South buildings where the House of Friendship and breakout sessions occur.
TWO MAJOR WALKING ROUTES
Just as there are two PATHs, there are two main street routes from which to choose. The first uses Bay Street, and Front Street over a distance of 900 metres and Google estimates 12 minutes or about 75 m per minute.
The alternative is the Bremner Boulevard and Simcoe Street route. It too is about 900 metres and takes about 12 minutes. I would still leave another 3-5 minutes to find the breakout room or reach the House of Friendship.
If your breakout session is in the MTCC South building the Bremner- Simcoe route is the only one to take as the distance is only 500 metres verse 1.2 km route whether you follow the street or take the PATH from the North venue.
